Question How to hide toolpaths in MasterCAM?

    Folks,

I’m very green to MasterCAM. So far, I’ve imported an IGES file, created half a dozen toolpaths, and my screen looks like a rat’s nest. Is there a way to hide toolpaths in MasterCAM X4?

As always, any suggestions, references, insight are appreciated!

    - Nick

Control-T toggles the hide/show all toolpaths

the "display Tpath" or "river" icon (2nd last) in the operation manager when active just shows the selected or last created toolpath
this is good when working on ops 1 by 1
the last icon displays the geometry used in the selected operation ( as long as it's level is on )

Or... Move your cursor into the Ops Manager Window and press "T" this will toggle toolpath display on/off for the selected Operation.

    Select an Op,... Press "T"
    Select all Ops,... Press "T"

Alt "T" will toggle all of the currently visible toolpaths on/off.
So if you have 5 toolpaths, all currently visible, Alt "T" will turn them all off.

Now if you only want to see toolpath Op #3, select Op #3 in the Ops Mgr and (with your cursor in the Ops Mgr window) press "T".

Now, with your cursor in the Graphics window, if you press Alt "T" it will toggle the currently visible toolpath (Op #3), on or off.

It's the difference between seeing All or a Single toolpath.
