How about inserting a M6 between the mobile plate and the fix plate

No, because then you're running the M6 macro inside the auto zero macro, and both will want to go to the fixed plate and zero.
Displaying the message box and waiting for the user to click OK is the only safe way that I can see doing it.

With this new 881 macro I feel a lot safer and it gives me all the time that I need, it’s much better than a delay, getting old and don’t want to rush anything.

I have bought quite a few software and never I had this kind of service, if anybody is waiting to buy it, don't wait you won’t regret it.

Just ask and if it is possible you will get it from what I can see and reed

    Thank you

I just bought the screenset and read on your site that the M6 toolchange macro's don't work with the most current version of Mach. It does work with the lockdown version 3.43.022 correct? Nice work Gerry!

No, read my site again. It dos not work with the lockdown. The bug in it was fixed a year ago, but the lockdown has not been updated. It does work in the development versions after 3.43.028, including the current one. You can also get the older lockdown (3.42.040) from the ftp site ftp://anonymous:[email protected]/
    Thanks.

    Please Help.

    Hello Gerry....

Im having a lil problem.... for some reason when I hit cycle start after a tool change it starts probing in the tool change location instead of moving to the fixed plate.
The Initial Auto Zero works perfect... It probes to the movable plate then moves to the fixed plate without ant problems. Any ideas?? Thanks

Any chance the the machine is set up in inches, and you're running metric code with a G21?

They are both in inches. The code is from Alphacam... Im thinking it might be the post im using.
It was wrote for mach 3 by a member of the forum.......
I was having another problem too... the code had a M0 (Stop Program) before each M6 command which was not letting it go any futher.
If I edit the code and remove the M0s it atempts the tool change but does not go to the fixed plate when I hit cycle start.
