Gerry, is the park position the same as g28 home position or are they unique?

No, the Park position is a user defined position specified on the Offsets tab of the 2010 Screenset.
The M883 macro supplied with the 2010 screenset sends the machine to this position.

Thanks. I thought the following questions would be with to ask on here since your screenset does probing: I'm looking for a probing bit. What I had in mind is something like a 1/16" ball end with 1/4" shank to easily fit my router without collet adapters, but the bit would be a blank, without flutes. I can't seem to find anything like it in Google searches. Seems easy enough to make if I had a lathe. Anyone know where I can find something like this?
Hello. Has anyone found a pendant that will work with the 2010 screen set ? I have been unable to locate a Jog it for sale. Hope this the correct way to ask this question. (New) I
Any pendant that uses a plugin should work fine.
I've also made modified .set files for a few people that use the default hotkeys. This will usually get most functions working with pendants that send keystrokes, although I've seen some Chinese pendants where some of the functions didn't work.

Hello Thank you for your response. My present pendant works off of my second parallel port. I am using jog hot keys and Oem triggers for Oem codes with VB Script. I am trying figure out how to use the 2010 screen set and
still have a pendant to use. Do you think I will need to purchase a new pendant form some where that has a plug in ? Any direction to go would be appreciated.
What pendant are you using?
It sounds like you should be able to get it to work with the 2010 Screenset.

Gerry,
Just wanted to check if this artifact at the bottom of the screen (+6.000) is normal in your 2010 screenset?

I get this as well. This also makes my amchine run slow.

What makes your machine run slow?
There are several controls outside of the main screen area, that aren't meant to be seen. Some are not visible, but are there. Just drag the window to fit the screenset, from the lower right corner. Once you close and restart mach3, the window size will be remembered.

the feed rate of 6 shows up at the bottom of the screen. Not sure where it comes from because i have never set anything to a feed rate of 6. my motor tune in Mach3 is set to 250 ipm. And my slowest (jogging) speed is set to 10% of that.

6ipm is the default feedrate that mach3 always starts at. If you want a default of 250ipm, put F250 in the initialization string in General Config.

Gerry,
Another quick question, for the auto tool zero to work I assume I have to use the icon with the double "down arrow".
Will the process also work if you start with the "single down" arrow first, meaning you zero out a tool with the "single arrow" and then run the double "down arrow", are they interchangeable?

If you're only using one tool, than you can use either to autozero, but the double (initial auto zero) will take longer, as it will also probe to the fixed plate after setting zero.
If you want to auto zero during a tool change, than you must use the double (initial auto zero). During a tool change, the tool is zeroed from the fixed plate, and the fixed plate position must be referenced, which is what the Initial Auto Zero does.
Does that answer your questions?

I think so, but just for clarification..
If the gcode involves a tool change and I want to "Auto" zero then I must use the (initial auto zero).
If I want to "Manually" zero after a tool change I can use the SIngle (auto zero) but I can't mix?

Yes.If the gcode involves a tool change and I want to "Auto" zero then I must use the (initial auto zero).
Yes, you can use either one (and mix if you want), but there's no reason to use the Initial Auto Zero with the fixed plate if you're not auto zeroing from an M6.If I want to "Manually" zero after a tool change I can use the SIngle (auto zero) but I can't mix?
Also be aware that if you're running different parts, that may be different thicknesses, and are using the auto zero on M6, that you need to use the Initial Auto Zero for each part.

Since many people are using the auto zero function I know the problem is me not doing something right. I do have it working to a degree. I hit the double chevron and the tool moves down to establish the initial zero.
The gantry then moves to the position of the fixed plate and does another touch off. Moves to X zero Y zero position and waits for me to hit OK. I do and the cutting starts. At the tool change I replace the tool and hit start. The machine starts cutting again and never goes to do a second touch off . So it starts cutting with the zero for the first tool. The second tool is longer then the first tool so you can guess what happens. It is cutting mush deeper then it should. Hope some one can clear this up for me.
Thank You
Don
