Question So I'm an Idiot... Who needs help...

    Hey guys and gals,
I'll just jump right into it...
We have a Mazak Nexus 250 turning center with the live tooling and sub-spindle and all that. I work the night shift at a machine shop (with no support staff). I have written programs for Fanuc controls before, but I can't for the life of me figure out which G Codes work with this Mazatrol control. For instance, I know that a G83 is a canned drilling cycle. But when I try to add the peck data (Q value), it doesn't peck. I'm at a loss... So far I've had nothing but head aches trying to modify programs to get them to run better. Can anyone point me in the direction of a G & M Code list with all the trimmings?
    Thank you in advance!
    Sean (The Idiot)

Mazak most time with Mitshubishu control, and as far as G-code concern is most identical except parameter is little difference. Let said G83 for example, Q is peck on fanuc and Mazak I believe is K. Check your manual, I don't have those info in hand.
The best way to learn is trial error.

Mazak EIA is just like Fanuc Format. We have Nexus QT-350 no live tooling
and this code works for me
    G83X0Z-1.550R.05Q.25F.005

This machine is a Mazak Nexus 250MSY with the Mazatrol 640T control. It has live tooling and a sub-spindle. I've tried to use a Q and a K value when a G83 is called for drilling in the sub-spindle.
    Example:
    G0 X0 Z-.1 M8
    G83 X0. Z1.75 R0.0 F5.0 Q.2 K5.
    G80
The manual we have said to use a "Q" for the peck distance and a "K" for the number of pecks. I've tried with and without the K value. In both cases the machine would drill to a depth of Z1.5 then peck around a few thousands each peck....
    I'm at a loss...
