    Tiny THK Bearings

Does any know of a use for tiny THK HSR8RM linear bearings. I just picked up 20 carriages and 10 75mm rails for a grand total of 60 New Zealand dollars off Trademe (NZ version of ebay). Thats 43 USD.
I think I might build a tiny vertical machining center.
What do you guys think? was it a good score?

I like them. They are a little on the small side but they are certainly cute. A micro VMC would be a neat project. Using a Sherline rotary and a light weight spindle, you could probably build a nice little mill for making rings.

They would also be ideal for a small ram EDM like this http://homebuiltedm.tripod.com/ since the limited motion is not a big factor there.
