    Software training night. ( Melbourne)

We are going to have a regular software training night to commence in the near future.
Shaun has come up with the idea of demonstrating the whole process of using a variety of software. He will show us what to do from the design process to the g-code process. We will also be discussing how to configure your CNC drive software too.

At this stage I am trying to put together a list of interested parties.
If you think you would like to participate in these monthly evening demonstrations / get-togethers, can you please regester your interest in this thread.

I am hoping these classes will be free of charge, or a small donation to cover costs.

Hopefully I will have finished my video projector project and we can see the demos in large screen format.

Depending on its success, we may be able to get a few guest speakers to talk to us about many different aspects of CNC and machinery.

If we get less that 4 participants it wont happen.

    Please post here, your interest.

Is it too soon for an advance reservation (ie a crash pad) for next year? Should be in Bundy then- take the train down? Cheers - Jim

Experience is the BEST Teacher. Is that why it usually arrives in a shower of sparks, flash of light, loud bang, a cloud of smoke, AND -- a BILL to pay? You usually get it -- just after you need it.
