    Parameter settings for memory

Does anyone know the parameters to change on a i series Fanuc controller to double the memory? Is it 0901? The machine is a Daewoo DMV-3016d.

what i series is it? 15 16 30 31 and most likly if it is 16 30 31 you can not do it. within the last 4 years Fanuc has developed a way to keep us all from changing option parameters. the have a logarithm generator that takes todays date and the machine serial number and generates a new password that is only good for 2 days and only on that particular machine. this password along with the option parameter is then E-maild to the closest Fanuc office and brought to your machine on a memory card. the card is inserted to the machine a new screen that has a load option key is pressed and the option loaded. if you try and change an option parameter your control will lock up and Fanuc will have to come in anyway and you be paying twice.

    Thanks for the reply.
I have already given up on the idea of trying to do this. It is not that big a deal for us anyway.
I do have another problem. We have a 4020d and the machine will not run with the door open. You must close the door completely, and then, when it stops, you have to hit a door request button before it allows you to open it. Is there a way to bypass this? The controller is a 21i MB

    Thanks
