    Hi all,

thanks for taking out time for valuable time out of your schedule, I tried all ways but had no luck, finally, I shifted to a floppy emulator and just got it for 100 $ and communication is also faster,

Now facing BUFFER OVERFLOW for bigger programs than 60 kb, can anyone please share a program format for how to call a multiple subprogram from main program?

    Hi

I can upgrade your buffer memory limit. I think your control unit is U100M.
    If interesting please send PM

hy sunilb, as allready mentioned in a previous post by kurmay, this can be fixed, so to enlarge available program size

it's a way better alternative than schedule programs *.sdf

please feel free to ask any question / kindly

    Gratitude Kitten,

I am new to CNC machines, just learning by experience/youtube/forums ??, the machine is working well at this moment with small programs running turn by turn, I will try *sdf in the week to come.

Thanks & Regards to all for such friendly behavior.

Can you tell me if the 1998 LB25ii on the way to me will use the same RS232 settings as the MC4VA I currently run? The MC4VA and Fanuc 10T use the same settings in the dnc software now. I'm worried there are a LOT of things I'm going to have to figure out with this new machine. Never ran OSP lathe before. Which canned, tapered threading cycle is a big worry. Loren

In my opinion following "the good configuration" from other machine is wrong approach. You need a good cable and matching settings on both sides.
If the setup is working for Fanuc DNC it doesn't mean that it is suitable for OSP file transfer.

The cable is good, and has been working for years on Okuma MC4VA with OSP5000G control, and Wasino LJ63M with Fanuc 10T control.
