The solenoid method will work for soft and slim materials that can be cut in just one step, but if you want to cut hard materials like cardboard or similar, 5 to 10mm thikness, you will need two o three passes, an oscillating knife and a normal Z axis. This is my personal experience.

En principio solo pensaba en el corte de vinilo, pero es verdad, con otros materiales se complica la situacion.

Adjunto mi fichero de configuracion para control tangencial y un fichero de corte que probe.

Solo deben de cambiarse las extensiones

I tested your file and works ok in simulation mode. By the way, I neither know your mill machine nor your knife type but I think that 400mm/minute is a bit slow to cut vinyl.
The solenoid method is the one used in commercial vinyl plotters and also they use a special nkife with an internal spring to do enough pressure in Z direction to cut the vinyl film and not to cut the support material under it. Look in the web for DIY solutions. There are some.

Manuel, gracias por tu respuesta, en realidad aun no he terminado mi cortadora de vinyl, se que esa configuracion es demasiado lenta, en realidad la hice aproximada solo para ver como se comportaba el eje A, pienso hacerla sobre un nuevo router que estoy construyendo con un area de 1.20 x 1.20, porque el actual es solo de 35 x 80 y ya no trabaja bien.
Gracias por la sugerencia, buscare soluciones caseras para el solenoide , ya que en principio solo pienso cortar vinyl, despues en funcion del trabajo que tenga construire el eje con motor de pasos, vi unas soluciones que me parecieron interesantes en
