Your user manual for the Miller Spectrum 375 should have charts listed to give you a basic guideline of input parameters needed to cut 3/16" plate. I don't know the exact model number you have (there are a few listed for the 375), but using page 21 in this user's manual: http://www.millerwelds.com/om/o225216g_mil.pdf
