    Mirrored Engraving

I want to mirror some text and part numbers into a part. I can't mirror the whole program because of other pockets and holes. Any ideas?

    Sub process

Run the text engraving as a sub process and only mirror that process.
Needs a little thought to locate the mirroring point.

Yeah that's why I pretty much came up with it. Just didn't know if there was an easier/better way. Thanks

    CAM package.

    CAM programs can be frustrating.
You might be able to find a font editor that you can make a mirrored font with.
That is if the CAM package can select a font.
ACAD simplex text makes quite a nice engraving font. (IMHO)
    Just explode the text.
Offsetting a copy sideways slightly makes it look nice with different width vertical strokes due to double pass.

Those lines are 1mm apart. Done with a dead 0.3mm drill ground flat on the end. Stainless steel. Cutter lasts 12 hours.
