    Tapping Head Question

So my machine uses BT35 which is/isn't hard to find. I've got some good deals on ebay and in one of those deals I got this brand new Nikken tapping head for $30.

My question is....what the heck to I put in it to hold the taps? I have yet to see any "inserts" that would apparently go in this unit.

    TIA,
    Mike

Nikken is a Lyndex product (GOOD STUFF!)They carry the collets you are looking for.I beleive that holder is only good for 3 or 4 tap sizes and is a floating type head. Here is a link to the site

Looks as though it could be a Bilz system collet. You would need to check sizes.

Thanks for the info! This helped a lot. I couldn't seem to find what I needed on the nikken site. it helps to know they are called tap collets!

    Thanks,
