In the link Hoss posted above it says .0004-.0005 backlash and he was happy with that.

It takes me to page 477 of this thread. I have reread those pages and see nothing. Was it in a video? .0004-.0005 would be fantastic.

    Ben,

Thanks. The link Hoss provided takes me to June 2013, not 2014. Though I did reread many of those pages again.

I wonder what kind of backlash is being seen now, with a little run time?

Don't know what the problem is with your browser but the link is for june 25, 2014.
There hasn't been enough run time yet, i've only used the mill to work on the pdb 3 so far.
pista01 said he's has the same and he has had several hours on his, it's the post right after mine on june 25, 2014.

Hoss, will the PDB3 still use 3 pairs of belvue washers and how do you set the tension? Just turn till tight?
How far does the drawbar need to move to release the tool holder?

    Thanks

Ah yes, good ol Princess Auto. Unfortunately they're always out of those quick release airhose couplers and I need to replace mine on my cylinder!

    Re: Hoss's G0704

Alright, the PDB 3 is finished and seems to work fine.
I have to put a small pressure gauge on the cylinder to see how much is there and adjust the bellevilles to release at 80 psi min.
Seems to have lots of force, it's flexing my 1/2" aluminum lift plate a little so steel for that part is recommended like on the PDB 2.
    Plans later in the week.
