    Tool Change Fault - VMC15 1995

    Hello,

    I have a Fadal VMC 15 RT Model 914 from 1995, a vertical cnc.

When the tool change occurs, and when the spindle it moving down to pick up a tool machine faults out and give me an error: emergency stop - take appropriate action. However the machine did not hit anything.

It happens in manual (tc,1) or auto mode. It first happened occasionally, and its now all the time. There is no collision with anything. The location seems correct. I have tried changing the Z home location up and down using the command (setz) and that did not help.

Thanks in advance for your help.
