Can you open , with bobcadcam V21, a .dwg file that was created in autocad?

Yes, you should be able to open it OK, only thing that may be a problem is what version of Autocad it is, if it`s an older one should be OK but possible a newer version might not work.

DXF files are usually easiest to open if you can get the file in that format.

    Regards

If V21 WILL open dwg's, just not the latest versions, I would use Autodesk's TrueView 2010. It will have a conversion command to convert them into an earlier version...

DesignReview 2010 will also add some very cool annotation and info sharing to the drawings also...

    Both free from Autodesk...
