    Re: USB pendant from Russia

    Hello Andrey!
I bought a pendant from you some years ago and now there is something wrong. It would not work anymore and I have tried it on two different computers with the same result. I have attached a picture of the screen and hope you can help me with this.

    Hello Jan,

Is this problem the pendant or screen only?
Windows finds a pendant as HID- device?
    Does buttons and wheels work?

The picture is of the screen on the pendant. This is the only image that the screen is showing regardless of which button I push, and the machine does not react on the wheels. Nothing happens, and I have tried it on two different computers.

Are there any batteries inside the pendant which can be discharged?

I have attached the test program Scans. Unpack it. Plug the pendant to the USB port. Run the Scans. Push the buttons, turn the wheels. Then save the file and send me at [email protected]

Buy with confidence. There was nothing wrong with the pendant, but only the program in the internal SD-card, and Andrey was very helpful and got me out of this problem with great communication through emails.

    Re: USB pendant from Russia

I have founded the new budget version - the ShuttleRU_STM32v.2 in plastic case. It differs from the previous version by a smaller display (it was 2.8" and now it is 2,4"), and the number of the buttons is less than in the previous version (17 and 15 accordingly).
The basic functionality has not changed!

    Re: USB pendant from Russia

    Hello Andrey!
The screen on my pendant is only clear and sharp when I plug it in to my computer. After only a short time, it loose a lot of the colors and often the screen also becomes white as you can see on the attached pictures. The key functions on the pendant is still working, its only the screen which fades away.

Can you please help me out of this problem?

    Hello Jan!

When has appeared this problem? After what actions?
Check the integrity of solder to each of 37 pin. (Use a magnifying glass.)
If everything is OK, then try to solder a wire between the pin # 11 and the GND. (See attach).
    Tell me about the result!

    Regards,
    Andrey

    Re: USB pendant from Russia

It look like the GND and two or three pins next to GND are open. But how can I solder these small pins without make any short
circuit between them. Do you have any suggestion for that?

    --------------------------------
Edited because something in this site changed the word micro pins to a link to products which doesn´t refer to this subject, and I didn´t make that link connection. Does walmart control this site?

I found the right way to solder these pins and I did so and checked the connection afterwards with a beeper. Everything was OK except that the screen is still in the same wrong mode.

Do you think this problem has occured because the pendant has been connected to an active USB port when the computer was off, and the pendant has been on active current for a longer time? In that case it is my fault and I need to know if I can buy new replacement parts from you in order to repair it.

Is LCD module the screen or some of the other parts? Can you give me the exact part number of this so I can try to find it on the web?
