    Bloke - MB3 battery backup?

    Bloke,

Hi. I hope all is well in the UK countryside.

I've been running the MB3 a bit more now. Its getting back to health. But I realized that the battery backup for the memory must not be working. Can you shed a bit of light on where and how to fix?

    Many thanks.

The old battery backup was a pack of four cells about "D" size, Nicad and giving about 3.5-4v.
As long as yours haven't been changed for a different type, they will be easy to pick out in the cabinet.
Normally, the battery was mounted on the power supply chassis. The positive was connected to TB4-30 and the ground to any 0v.
