Question Program will not run in Format 2, I's and J's error

Program will run on 6030 Format 2 but not 4020 in format 2.
I 's and J's seem to be the problem, The error is asking for the fixture offset to be activated. It is already activated. If I switch my 4020 to format 1 it will draw and run the program with me having to alter Tool offsets. (Looks like it will try to crash in Z with format 1)
Is there a parameter that could be changed that would make 2 controls the same.

    Thanks

The control is the exactly the same for both the 4020 aqnd the 6030. Your problem is probably becayse you have a "Pending Offset" in the fixture table in either axis A or B. Therror code you are getting is "Fixture offset must be applied with G0 or G1". The next line after the failure is a G3 or G2 arc line. Remove the un-needed value in the fixture table and all should be ok.

    Question

Both controls are the same. I deleted the offsets in the table except for E1 which has X Y Z A B offsets, There is no other offsets in the table. Can you define pending offset?
    Thanks

In Format 2 only all offsets are applied ONLY when an axis is called in the program. That means that if the X & Y axis is commanded in a line then only the offsets for X&Y are applied. If the Fixture table has other values in that table line then they will be held (pending) until the appropriate axis is called.
In Format 1 ALL offsets are applied immediately upon stated the "E" code.

Hope that clears things up for you.
