    Anyone in Manchester UK?

    I make lenses in plastic but it's not economical for me to make the rough shape (the "blank") so need someone who can do this for me- our current supplier is miles away and I'm looking for someone closer.

    We're based in Sharston Industrial Estate.

    The components are various diameters from 5mm to 100mm, various thicknesses from 5mm to 30mm, convex, concave and flat. The material is typicaly optical grade cast acrylic (which I can supply).

    Tolerances are typically +/- 0.1

    Quantities per component vary from 3 to 100 off per month.

    Would idealy suit a small production shop?

    Anyone near me please?
    I love deadlines- I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

    No-one? good God.

    I mean I knew that the UK had become bunch of bankers, but has manufacturing become so crap?

    Oh well, I'll cary on sub- conning the jobs 300 miles away.
