A friend of ours had purchased a Mazak VQC 2040B with a Mazatrol Mark 2 CNC and he is looking to beg borrow steal buy a Mazak CMT box to reload his perameters.
The control is reading my program but the XYZ axis wont move. Spindle turns on, tool changer works and I can jog the machine in any axis but as soon as I have it going in my program the axes wont move...
Can you help him? Well- us, because he is driving me nuts! :-P

if you have a paper copy of the parameters why not just hand type them and be done with it?

The perameters are on that large floppy disc- you know the REALLY OLD SKOOL one. Thats why Im wondering if we could borrow someones box-
I believe that he tried to have someone manually enter the perameters from a sheet donated by someone-
The original perameters are on that disc and in all honesty Im afraid to tell him that the disc could be bad because of the age!
