    cylindrical fixture

    For a surface grinder. I used one before but never got the name of who made it.

    Who makes these fixtures?

    With 5C collets? There are lots of manufactures out there. Check E-bay, I thing I saw a couple on there for cheap.

    The really good fixtures have a V block that you indicate to centre (or offset) manually. They are by Suburban & Harig (others?) start at about $2k, hard to run a tool room without 1.

    wow two grand? and I could run one on a surface grinder? all I wnat to do is side grind a cylindrical surface.
