Hello,
I am ordering some aluminum honeycomb for a Diy laser. Could someone who has been around the machines help me pick the correct cell size and thickness? My outer dimensions are 40X40"
Any help would be great
Thank you

looks to be about .5 cm Any idea how thick this piece is? Thank you for the picture
On picture - 10-12 mm
You won't find the correct honeycomb available from anyone who sells small pieces. I did a lot of research a few years ago when I wanted to save a few $ and buy direct. I ended up getting some from a place online that seemed to have the right specs but it was way too thin to be useful. I sent it back a few minutes after it arrived. The best place to buy it is from cuttinggrids.com. They SEEM expensive when you look at what's available from McMaster and others, but it's the RIGHT stuff and will last forever. Trust me, it's the best $150 I have spent.

Thank you for the link
The places I have tried are honeycommcore and Plascore
Both places can get what I want, I just do not know what I want. The first thing they ask is cell structure size and thickness
Hi,
for 40X40" 0.5" cell size would be best.
Sometimes you may hunt honeycommcore on Ebay for 50usd/slice (minimum price) but it is allways 3/4 cell.
