"Benny's guessing game" (What are they ?)

I just bought a USB microscope, Its lots of fun.
Who will be the first person to guess these 4 pictures?
They are every day items and I'm sure that most people have seen them.
The first person to guess all 4 is the winner.

To be fair christinandavid, I have edited the game. I will only reveal the answer once a person has listed all four correctly in their post, or in two weeks, whichever comes first.

And the first is the ribbon cable,
But the third might fog your lens.
Super X3. 3600rpm. Sheridan 6"x24" Lathe + more. Three ways to fix things: The right way, the other way, and maybe your way, which is possibly a faster wrong way.

Last one is a coffee ground.

So, we have ribbon cable. Plug connector of some type, and last is a coffee ground.
    What is the 3rd?

    So far, individual guesses.
I need specifics, and I need all 4 listed in the post.
So far only two guesses are correct and specific enough.
When you know the answer you''ll say "Ahh obvious"

    Serious though, lol:

    1. Ribbon Cable -eg hard drive cable not showing pin 25 cable.

    2. Female connector for a 25 d pin hard drive cable.

    3. Cable insulation, silver bit will contain say 3 wires like for ipod earphones.

    4. erm... erm... an earplug bit?

Argh! it's doing my head in!

So far, 3 have been correctly identified and specific enough.
I can promise that nearly everyone has seen the third item. Some see it daily.
BTW you guys are good, the next one I will have to do a closer magnification.
I think Neil might know the identity of number 3 and offered a clue.

No 1's the tip of a ball-point pen.. erm... erm...

No 2: is that the same pen but looking down on the tip?

No 3 looks like a holograph strip like you get on credit cards or bank notes.

    No 4: Buggerit, stumped!

You got the pen right, as if anyone could could get that wrong.
Looks like people have lost interest, I can understand that, especially with all the interesting reading on the zone.
    I'll announce the answers 2morrow.
