Evening gents,
i was recently given a power supply that used to run a 2 axis servo system, both the input and output wires had simply been cut off so ive opened it up to try to work out where to connect to. The input cable has 4 wires, Blue, Brown, Black and Earth. Blue and brown are connected to the transformer primary as i expected (its 110vac input) earth is connected to the body and the black is connected to a slow blow fuse which appears to be conected back to one of the wires in the output cable and i think also connected into the two outputs from the transformer. The axtual trnsformer has 3 out puts, 20v 0v and 20v, these are then connected to diodes and capacitors as i would expect, its the slow blow fuse connecting an input wire to these output wires i dont get any ideas??
Th other thing i just remebered is there is a wire that runs from the 0v secondary out of the metal case and onto two round fixtures that are screwed through the case with glass washers, what does that do??
Any help would be appreciated.
Matt
