    I can use a drum dial as a dial indicator can't I?

I'm not 100 % sure but I can use one of these drummers dials Drumdial Inc. featuring drum tuning, drum triggers, triggers, electronic drums, electronic drum triggers as a dial indicator right? I just pull the base off and it becomes a dial indicator doesn't it?

unless you already have one i dont see this as being cheaper...but otherwise it looks to be a plunger style dial indicator.

Already have had one for years. Great to know it can be used for another purpose besides tuning drums!
