Vectric the most cost effective way to go?

I have a FLA200 (2x4) router, and while I'm sick of spending money on the thing, I still need some software to generate G-Code. I have Rhino, so I've considered Rhino Cam, but I don't like the interface as it seems overly complicated. The Vectric software looks easy to use, but it looks like I would need both Vcarve Pro and Cut 3D, which would run $800. That's still cheaper than Rhino CAM by a couple hundred. I've tried demos of both.

    Any advice?

I have both and I consider them VERY cost effective in the long run. There may be cheaper solutions initially but not with the features you'll find in the 2 programs. Thanks. Mike

Have to agree with p38nut. Been using VcarvePro for over two years and it has done everything I have ask of it. Very easy to learn. Support second to none.

No doubt Vectric has the best support and a great Forum.. In the past five years i never saw a problem left unresolved by the vectric team...
The software is great having ZERO bugs.. Vectric has set examples by following SIX SIGMA ways...
