Post New easy to use 2.5D and 3D CAM Programs

    Hello,

during the last 1-2 years I've programmed 2 CAM programs for 2,5D and 3D milling. They are (hopefully) very easy to use and intended for hobbyists and small business.

You can download the software at www.estlcam.com

The first one is Estlcam 2,5D:
    • It works with .dxf drawings
    • Besides "normal" milling it can also create pockets and works with different depth levels.

The second one is Estlcam 3D:
    • It works with STL models
    • It is very simple - you basically just define your tools and decide which machining direction you prefer

I've just finished translation from German to English a few days ago - hopefully the translation is not too bad and everything works well (I'd be glad if someone tells me if I use wrong or unusual descriptions - I've also experienced some troubles caused by the English decimal point crashing the program in the past but I hope this issue is fixed now)

    Kind regards

    Christian Knüll

    Not working with me

    Dear Christian,

I just installed the software. I am using Windows 7 with .net installed.
I see the grid before I open a file and see a blank screen with a cross-hair only. I can draw lines with your software but the file open does not seem to work.
