I recently acquired a Series II that has some exposure to water on the head. The Z axis was stuck. I was able to get it apart but it has some minor pitting. Any recommendations on someone to repair it?

I paid $750. It was a Boss 8 complete minus the drives(Someone had started a retrofit). Spindle motor, servos, lube system are all working. The ways and surfaces all look excellent. Just the top had been exposed to water at some point.
It is rusted just enough that it needs to be repaired or replaced. I want to get everything the best I can while it is all apart
~13 years ago, when there was still a bridgeport, that ballscrew was 1500 bucks. Ask me how I know.......
OK Gus, how?
