Don't know if this is the right forum but I can't seem to find a more appropriate one. Does anyone have an older Mitutoyo CMM that uses GEOPAK software. Our machine has suffered a harddrive crash and the original diskette with the GEOPAK SW turns out to be blank. I would hope to find someone willing to make a copy their GEOPAK diskette. Our old machine has a Mitutoyo MAG-1 box connected to the computer so I'm hoping to find another older Mitutoyo CMM with the same setup. Our GEOPAK is GEOPAK 1000 but other versions (500 or 2000) I think would also work. Thanks, Ted.

I too am after a copy of this software. I've joined a company who have lost the original disc and we rely heavily on this software which is sitting on a 10-year-old PC.

Hey everyone,

I am not sure what media I have this software on, whether it be floppy or the Colorado disks. Either way, I can make copies or extract it from our current setup, so I have it in some form for sure. It will take me a while, but I hope I can get to it this week, as I desperately need to swap out the HDD in the PC, its starting to get real sluggish. I'll keep you updated on when i get this started.

Anyone have a complete set of manual's for geopak 1000 v1.42.

Ive somewhat resurrected a cmm at work but have no idea how to finish the setup. My main issue is it says the counter isn't connected.

Hello Gentlemen,

I have located some disks for the CMM. I found a disk for STATPAK 1000 that I can easily copy if need be. But it looks like the GEOPAK will have to be extracted. Once I am done running some parts, i am going to replace the hard drive on this unit, so I will copy everything there is and let you all know. As far as manuals, which ones are needed? I have a whole set that I can copy, and some extras that I can sell as well.

I just was given a small Mitutoyo CMM that is not working, but it does have the original Geopak500 software on 3.5 floppy. I believe it is version 2.1. I would like to get this machine working, but when powered up it says ID module missing Any ideas what this is referring to?

Hello,

When I accidentally unplug my CMM from the GPIB card, it will tell me ID Module Missing. It could be that, or that the there is a hardware / address conflict in the setup, and you have two resources trying to use the same address.
Is this system all original, as in, did it come together?

We also had a hard drive crash, on our bh506 mitutoyo. We made back up,
but for some reason it wont restore. Then discovered our Software Diskette
went missing. We need software copy.We had geopak 500 I believe version 2.0.
If anyone can help. I would be very appreciative.
