Drip feed CL200B and MSC803 controller

I have just bought a used Mori CL200 that has a Mitsubishi controller on it (MSC-803). Going through the operation manual it seems as though I am missing a "Tape mode" button on the soft touch. There are other buttons missing for features I don't have (like a parts catcher etc...), but I would have though that a tape mode would have been a standard thing on a machine by 1998.

Maybe I'm missing something? The machine does have an RS-232 port.

I have been finding that this Mitsubishi controller is a real pain to get any kind of documentation on.

    Regards,
