    Zinc coated wire

We are having really good luck with the optional cutting conditions in the AQ327 LN1control for coated wire. Is the a way to copy all these conditions to our older AQ550 with the LN1control? With the floppy drives? RS232? The machines are both on the network but we have never set up file transfer with it.

how old is your AQ327? Does it say WS in the power settings header? If you have a WS control the power settings wont go back to the older aq550. Go to SETTINGS/DISK and do a DATA BACKUP on the AQ550 and copy everything to the disk. It may take more than one floppy if you have alot of .nc programs on the machine. Once you have the info backed up on the AQ550 go to the AQ327L and go to the same page and when you are doing the data backup only select condtion file/ sodick database/user database/corner control/opotion database(misspelled in software)/options of database. Once you have these files backed up from the aq327l go to the aq550l and go to settings/disk then do a data restore and when it pulls up the info from the disk select all and make sure to select over write. Once all that is done you should have the same database as the AQ machine. If the database wont work in the machine take the backup from the AQ550 and do a full data restore and reboot the machine.
