    how to correct the user parameters

    Hi, All:

    I put wrong value by mistakes at user parameters, and I don't have the old number, how I can find it back? is going to work if run the following program?
    N10 VPVLX=[VPVLX+.1]
    GOTO N10
    M2

    The old number is gone.
    Your sample proram will work just fine

    If your machine is new enough to have Mac Man, you can go to it, go into Trouble Info, Operation history, and page down until you find your keystrokes. I think it's the E-machines and newer that show you the previous register (parameter) setting that existed before you reset it.

    Other than that, FYI on older machines, you can quickly shut off the machine after you make a mistake like you describe and it will probably not be backed up yet, so when you power up again, it will return to the previous setting.

    Those are your only options. Which control do you have by the way?

    One more thing - based on your VPVLX command, are you searching for the positive Variable limit? If you are, you can go to the Stroke End Limit, ADD 0 to the number, and it will automatically set the VPVLX to the maximum allowed within your Stroke settings. Nice trick huh!

    you can go to the Stroke End Limit
    in system parameters.
    when you add 0 to system stroke end limit parameter, user stroke end limit gets equal to system.
