Hello everyone.

This is my first posting so I hope I'm in the right place.

The company I work for has recently purchased the above mentioned Mori Seiki and I seem to have "inherited it" :-)

It was a bank repo and the only manuals I have available at the moment are the .pdf copies. To be honest they are rather lacking in the information I require.

My first task was to write a small warm up program and after successfully trying it out I wanted to make it a "9000 series" protected program.
But, I don't seen to be able to find the parameters to allow me to do this. They are different from the usual Fanuc parameters although this control is Fanuc based

If anyone is familiar with this control and could be of assistance I would be grateful

First, nice score! That should be a Fanuc 31i series i believe. I don't have the list here, but the parameter name is NE9. Does that have the Maps 3 or Maps 4 control? You can assign the program to the user MDI keys so you just need to press the "warm up" soft key. If it's a maps 4 control the manuals can be copied out of the control.

Check 3202.4. Should be labeled NE9
