    Doosan 2000sy not on center

    Hello Guys

I have a 2006 Doosan 2000sy with Fanuc 18i-TB control. About a month ago It begain to show an APC alarm on the X an Z axis. I then turned off the APC parameters from 1 to 0. This made me turn the machine on holding the P and cancel button at the same time, then manual home.I just replaced 2 the batteries on the amps and turned the APC parameters back to 1.
Now the machine is not center, I mean x0 and y0 are not on center.
Is there an easy way to make it back on center??

    Thanks

Thank you for the PDF file, I have reset the zero an all seems to run fine for about 30 min. As the machine warms up the X zero moves. The part im making is 1" Dia with a .875 Hex cut onto the end with Z axis live tool. As the machine gets warm I can see it slowly go off center. Should I have set the X Y zero when the machine is warmed up or just shift the G54 X value as machine warms up?
This Doosan 2000sy can easily shift off center .005 on the x axis in the first hour, dose this sound normal?

    Thanks for any help guys

no that doesn't sound right the x,y&z axes are box ways this cnc does not have a bolt on turret. You should not be getting large amounts of mechanical movement in x.

    I would suspect something else.

Check how tight the motor/ball screw coupling is

I have seen this machine grow in X as it warms up. For ours, we have a warm up routine that we let run for 15 minutes before doing any work on the machine.

Then again, we are in a snow area, so in the morning, this place is cold!!!

I dont think i have seen a .005 growth though, thats pretty large.

Check your headstock bolts for tightness. Is this .005 in diameter or radius? Is it really cold room temp when the machine is not running?
