    it is the interface between your computer and your drives. It simplifies your wiring between your drives and your computer and also provides a certain amount of safety so that you don't smoke your computer accidently.

    The title of the post was "Got a ? on a break out board"

    My ? is , what is it ?, "it" being the breakout board.

    No, I wasn't just goofing, I have heard that term many times and never knew what the function was or what role it played in DIY CNC setup's.

    My real name is Ken Shea, I use it because it's easy for me to remember
