    Kawasaki Serial Encoder Protocol

    Hello everyone,

    I stumbled upon this forum while searching for information on a H20/M21 RS485 serial encoder. I found this post:

    And I added a comment to the end but have not received a reply, I was wondering if anyone here has tried to communicate with these encoders for a project?

    I have the matching Sanyo Denki BL Super motor I'm trying to use the motor just as a motor not for positioning or control so I really on need the commutation part of the enocder.

    Did you every get any data on these guys? I'm making SOME progress lately, but not much in the way of decoding the data returned.
