Hi,
I do not know how much experience you have with indexing tables but here is my idea. The smaller handle behind the scale serves to connect/disconnect the handle (worm)to/from the gear inside. Do not pull the worm too tight against the gear. Leave the slightest bit of play. You may need to loosen the black nut on the front which locks the lever mechanism in place.
Secondly, there are two thumb screws on the front which serve to lock the table. I strongly advice to tighten them during machining after each indexing step.
Hope this helps.
Thanks EPTech.
You mean, take off the handle wheel / hand crank. Inside a black ring holding the worm rod should be loosen and adjust?
Should I adjust the bottom of the table which have a black metal that looks like wedge for the gears?
Thanks
Thanks EPTECH,
Do you mean take off the crank handle / hand wheel, inside had a black retaining ring which holds the worm drive should be loosen a bit?
Should I loosen the bottom of the table which had a plate that looks like wedge for the gears?
Has completely take the table apart, clean all greese, lubricate with high grade machine oil, assemble and adjust.
Now everthings is smooth...
