    Hi,

Does the machine do this all of the sudden? Have you changed something to parameters? Did you replace an encoder?

Hello, i have not changed parameters or encoder the machine cuts and traverses like this either in manual jog mode or in a program, do you know if it is possible for one axis to move too fast and overrun itself?

Another possibility is that some fluid has spilled and soiled the encoder. Can you find any traces of fluid on the encoder housing of the X motor? Careful. I have successfully cleaned the glass scale of an encoder before but it is risky business. Another possibility is that the encoder scale has come loose and got off-center due to vibration. In that case you need to replace it.
