I can't seem to post on the BobCAD support forum despite having registered there. Does anyone have any ideas? When I try to post it says "I may be trying to edit someone else's post or that I do not have the correct privileges."
How is it possible to become one of the privileged few?

Did either of you register when they had the "dual forum debackle" a couple months back?? If so, you might try to re-register on the bobcadsupport.com forum to start afresh.

I think all new registrants must be approved to post before you can post there. Great for spam, but when you have admins that don't check the new users list and approve, the thing is pointless.

That makes sense as there were some of the "enlarging" adverts comming into the forum...
