Need Help Finding a Decent Bead/Sand Blaster Unit

    Hello,

I'm wanting to build a sandblaster unit and wondered if someone on this forum can share their experience with me.

My goal is to have a blaster that I can use for paint / rust removal on steel and also to put a satin finish on some aluminum pieces I milled out. I currently have a very nice air compressor, (low decibels and easily puts out 120 psi). And I also made a nice cabinet for the actual blasting, got a nice 50 gallon barrel from a construction crew that was about to throw away. I originally bought a sand blasting gun from harbor tool and freight (Yes I do realize 95% of their products are crap), and it was worthless.

I am now looking for a gun and am lost as to what to buy, does anyone know of something quality that I can adjust to suit my needs of the part Im working on? I was thinking about ordering one from mcmaster, sometimes they can be overpriced. Is their any particular brand and setup that anyone would recommend? What size nozzle would be appropriate.

Any input would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Brian
