I am looking for some help on re programming the ladder on my fanuc 18M controller.

I have used the RS232 to download the current ladder, then loaded it into fanuc ladder III and decompiled it.

I have then edited it and re-compiled it and tryed to send it back to the machine with 3 different programs but I have no luck.

Every time I try to send it I get a error.
I am attaching picture of the error and settings.

I have also tryed with a memory card, but when I use the machine to format it I get the same 930 error, so I am not sure what direction to go with this.

Your pitcure does not show.
The 930 error ,may be the ladder is wrong.
You should check your modified ladder.
I encountered the same problem.

But I am getting the same error even when I try to format the memory card to copy the current ladder file.

I am using a fanuc branded pcmcia to compact flash adaptor and fanuc branded 128mb compact flash card.
Should this card work?

How long your machine ?
If your system is fanuc 18m .you should use the 2MB or 4MB SRAM card.
The other card can't be used in this controller.

The controller is a 1995.
I need a SRAM to change the ladder program?
It is a PCMCIA type of card?

If you are using a memory card, only use the PCMCIA SRAM card.
You can copy the ladder program by RS-232.It can also import it.
Channel related settings may be wrong or program errors.
