Man that is awesome.
looks good! where did you get the model from? Ive been looking to do something similar but havent found a good model to try.
That's the Aztec Calendar too many hand wringers claim portend doom in 2012. Right after that it goes political. Nice work.
No one knows about the day or the hour is referring to a quote from Jesus. Matthew 24:36
Personally, after thinking about it for more than 25 years, and researching the ancient and modern writings, I feel that the date, is more referring to a time when people will start to see the significance of the war that has already started. It started in 2003. It becomes significantly increased in 2012 and lasts until 2030.
Very nice carving! To see you holding it, gives a good feel for the size and is very impressive! That would be cool to have hanging on the wall!
Being that 2012 is coming and all the hype associated with that year, I'll bet you could manufacture those and they would sell very well.

I'm a mutant from the sewers and I give that 3 thumbs up! Very impressive looking. How long did it take to mill that out?
Very cool! All supernatural mumbo-jumbo aside, that's a lovely piece of work.
Pic from the vectric forum. (not my pic)
I think this one was completely v-carved.

Fantastic piece and great job. What is the material you used and the diameter ?
I am not having any success to create a G-Code for this piece yet.
The G-Code and tooling info would be greatly appreciated if you were to zip and post here.
What program did you use to create the G-Code?
