How to disable 4th axis on 2100 control

Hello, I'm replacing my Arrow 1250 with a Haas VF6 and taking the Troyke rotary off the Arrow and putting it on the Haas and need to know how to disable the axis and any other procedures that have to be done in order to remove table, cables, etc. I'm assuming you can't just unplug the cables and hose without the machine getting angry and throwing a fit. The Arrow is for sale by the way if anyone is interested. Thanks.

You need to have the E-stop pushed in, and it's done through the pendant.

I ran an Arrow fo 9 years and did this a couple times a month. I don't totally remember, but when the e-stop is pushed, go into "Setup" and somewhere there is a Remove/Install axis softkey that will let you enable/disable the 4th axis. Once you press the proper button you're "A" axis will immediately dissapear from the control screen.

    hope this helps

When a machine is delivered 4th axis ready there is sometimes some dummy plugs pushed in where the axis plugs should go (motor and feedback).

If you have these, power off and plug them in the axis should be disabled. You may also have to press a softkey to turn off the axis on the screen.
