Did you recently save/read from any removable disk in MC?

Check Seeting-->Configuration-->Files to see if any entry points to removable drive that's no longer there.

You may find that you have a path in the operation manager that is targeting a removable drive

ie post to location in the "Files" tab (Toolpath Directory is common)
or perhaps calling in a stock file

everything looks good, all the paths are to the right dir etc...

but I did use a USB HD to move the post and other files around. very strange never happened before...

if I click files tab/operation manager and then ok, the message comes up right way as-well...

also if I do save as I get the message too..

I've had a problem with Mastercam 5 under XP. Whenever I launch it, it goes back to my In Development folder and recreates subfolders that I have deleted.

I suspect that you're having a similar issue with it trying to recreate folders on a drive that is no longer there. Try putting a blank USB drive in and see if it recreates old folders on that drive. If so, then you and I are having the same issue.

I don't have a fix, sadly. I shut down Mastercam, went through the registry and removed all references to the folders, then rebooted. It didn't fix the problem, so the folders are referenced somewhere else.
