    Glentek servo card problem

Hello, this place has some great information. I could not find info on my problem, if someone can answer or guide me in the right direction will be great. Thanks!

Problem: On an Anilam controlled CNC, when servos are On everything is OK. But as soon as the hand wheel on the y axis is touched servo starts oscillating moving back and forth.

Tried tuning servos also measured the pot values as per Anilam instruction without success. Also checked the tach's. I did swap this card with the z axis and the problem travelled with the card on the z axis.

Any idea to make this servo card work?

You are probably better off replacing the drive with a A-M-C model.

    Thanks Al,

Any advice on what kind of connectors I should use to accomodate the new drive?

At the drive end, the connector are Molex, available from DigiKey, although a few AMC use D connectors also.
The part number is usually with the drive manual.
If you get the drive new, it includes connectors.
