    Lightbulb Interesting

I am just reading about these routers and it looks like fun making them to cut wood projects or such. Is there anyplace I can look at pictures to get a better idea what they are exactly and what they can do. I am wondering what programming software and computer would be used for this also since I know virtually nothing about this subject. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Roundman

    Hack

if you are still wanting some one to host the plans or want to just have an extra location (mirror site) let me know. I think I should maybe set up a page just for this and then I can post my plans as well.

my email addy is morphtrust AT yahoo DOT com
or you can send me a message through my contact page on my web site.

    www.borgsteamfactory.com/contact.html

I have another site as well borgsteamdesign.com on another server to avoid down time. and if you are looking for it I can even help you set up a site for free. You would have to buy a URL to avoid those www.whateverhostyouuse.com/hack type of url but if that is ok then you can totally get away with free all the way. one site has 300 meg of space and lets you use PHP and the other is 1.5 gig of space but no PHP use. The two site I listed as mine are on their servers. in case you wanted to see how well they work

These are Hack's plans to the router he built for all to download.
Let me know if you all have trouble with the link.

    Thank's Hack for sharing them.
your site says to check back at a later date, which I know from experience can put people off. Even if you are not ready to post by the time you say it is still better to give an idea on how long it will be. maybe have a site page with some sort of time line and what you are involved in or a way to contact you otherwise or keep up with you. I am wondering if your site is RC vehicle based as I would definitely be interested in looking around when you get it back up and running.

i'd like a copy of those plans as well...maybe you could host them on mediafire, so you don't have to deal with everyone's requests.

Maybe don't have to do, Just buy the whole set :) haha

Maybe you don't have to do, Just buy the whole set. I bought from SALE CNC Router Milling, CNC Laser, CNC plasma machine, China, Servo Motor Drive, UK, USA, Italy, Spain, Thailand Pretty good machines, including the one you're thinking to make.

    I think it's cheaper. I got one XJ1212 from SaleCNC.com

Admitting I only really looked at the first couple of posts and pictures...

    Question:
Your gantry is ~8-12 wide by however many feet across and you put your slides at the back of it. This means that you lose some travel at the front of the machine. Have you considered moving your slides forward some on the gantry so that you could brace them from behind for increased rigidity? You could also gain a few inches at the front of the machine.
