    ATTENTION: Hwacheon Cutex 160 owners...

My shop is considering the purchase of two new Cutex 160's. We have some questions and would greatly appreciate any help.

How rigid is the tailstock? We machine a ton of Zirconium and Stainless between centers and need to hold tolerances to less than .0005. Chatter is also a big concern. What are your experiences?

How long have you owned your Cutex? any mechanical issues or breakdown?

If you were buying today would you recommend the Cutex?

Lastly, my shop currently owns Mori SL15's (from the 80's!) Mori NL's and Mazak Nexus 100's. We are looking at the Cutex as they are considerably cheaper. Are they worth it?

Did you ever purchase the Hwacheon? If so, I was wondering how it went. Can't find much on the net about Hwacheon.

    Thanks!
