I have a Dugard eagle 200 lathe running Fanuc O-TD.
An alarm has triggered which i can not reset in any way i have tried. I've been searching the net for possible solutions or suggestions and this place seemed my best bet for finding what i need to know.
So, the error i have is-
400 servo error (servo overload)
Thats how the error appears on the screen from a cold start up and the diagnostics tell me to refer to 720/721 on the parameters, but i'm a programmer/operator so don't really know much about the insides i'm afraid.
It's the 1st time we've had this error come up, we ran through 5/6 cycles when it hit on the 7th so it was not there from turning on the machine. It was returning to a safe zone of X100 Z100 when it flashed up, but i did notice the position readout read X100 Z99.999 if that helps at all?...
Hope somebody can help with this as i'm tearing out my hair and crossing my fingers it's not the servo amplifier that has an internal fault as it looks a mighty expensive piece to repair/replace!
