    Problem Loading "Sub Cycle Programs"

We have a CHNC II, with a Fanuc 10T controller. We lost all of the programs. Hardinge sent us the programs along with the instructions to reload everything.
We have run into a problem trying to load the FAPT "Sub Cycle Programs".
Everytime we go to send the program from the PC to the machine using
    "5,P" the machine locks up.
I have spoke to Hardinge, and they resent all of the programs and instructions. They also explained that the first and last line of the binary programs must start and end with a % sign. This did not help. Hardinge
then said that I should contact Fanuc.
Fanuc said that they never use "5,P" for anything. And that they use "N98P"
when entering programs. So at this time we are stuck. And yes the machinist
    uses the FAPT program.
Has anyone ever ran into this problem, and what can be done to correct it.
We can use any help you may be able to supply us. Thanks.

Perhaps this will guide you. THe machine needs to be turned on in a special manner to get to the FAPT side of things. If you see the CNC side, you're not there.

Thank you for the info. But I have a few questions. First,we can enter FAPT
no problem, does this still apply to us. As I said, we cannot add the "SUB
    Cycle Programs" in Fapt.
Also we have question about the Hexadecimal codes listed on line four under "options. What codes are you talking about? And what are the values?
Also, are you saying that in order to get the FAPT to load properly, we must clear it out and start over?
