Hi, I new with mazatrol programming. I programmed a 1/4-20UN tapping cycle on a milling centre and the spotting, drilling cyles works fine but when it comes to the tap I get this error:
952 NO SYNCHRONIZED TAP OPTION (REWORK-C, 4, 3)


Can someone help me on that one. I know it needs to index itself before tapping but I don't know how to do it.

According the the alarm, you don't have synchronized tapping option... Need the option.

Or, you should be able to go with a floating tap set up. On the Tool Data, you need to change the tap type to floating and put together a floating set up.

Thanks a lot, it really helped me. To confirm what you were saying, I went in the parameters of the machine and indeed the rigid tapping option wasn't purchased on the machine.
